AVINCIS WINERY - VILA DOBRUSA - DRAGASANI VINEYARD - OLTENIA

AVINCIS is the symbol of the revival of Romanian wines, marking a return to tradition and a glance to modernity.

This adventure began for Cristiana Stoica and her husband Valeriu in 2007 as they discovered their new passion while returning to the cradle of the family, in the region of Drăgăşani.

A new project was thus born – giving a new life to the family’s estate, restoring the charm and glory of this vineyard from the end of the 19th century and create a place for fine wine and beauty lovers.

The oenological activity of the winery is coordinated by the Italian oenologist Andrea Previtali with the support of the external consultant GIOTTO Consulting SRL – Italy.

AVINCIS winery wines are available in restaurants and specialized wine shops (AVINCIS label), but also in retail stores in Bucharest and the country (VILA DOBRUŞA label).

This vineyard with 50 hectares planted (43 ha fruitful), practically covers the entire hill as well as its slopes gently descending towards the valleys.

Local varieties such as Tămâioasă Românească, Negru de Drăgăşani, Alutus, Fetească Regală and Crâmpoşie Selecţionată are still cultivated but many other wine varieties have also been introduced in the Drăgăşani vineyard, such as the Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon or Muscat Ottonel, which adapted very well to the climate and soil conditions.

AVINCIS – Vila Dobruşa offers a unique wine tourism experience for you: come to discover its wines and its history while having a wonderful time! With a full accommodation capacity for 26 adults (if all couples) or 13 single, AVINCIS has 9 beautiful and well-equipped rooms and 3 stunning apartments placed on top of the cellar with the most outstanding view.

Our guests can visit the "Ferma dintre Vii", located in the middle of the vineyards, only 30 minutes walk from the VILLA DOBRUSA or take a walk in the park "Poiana Apostolilor" where they can contemplate the original geometry of the park, the sky show and the forest colors and surrounding vineyards in all seasons.

The AVINCIS winery is located in the Vâlcea County, on the hills of Drăgăşani (the city center of Dragasani is 6 km away), at around 200 Km west from Bucharest (2 ½ hour drive).
