The 13th edition of the GoodWine Fair took place on 20-22 March, at Romexpo. The following exhibitors took part in the fair: Cotnari Winehouse, Jidvei, Vincon, Vrancea, Oprișor, Vinarte, Budureasca, Senator Wine, Alira, Agricola Știrbey, Avincis, Alcovin Macin, Via Sandu, Domeniile Sâmburești, Domeniile Dealu Mare Urlați, Darie, Domeniul Vladoi, Vincola Averești, Wine Princess, Cricova România, Casa Panciu, Domeniile Ostrov, Domeniile Tohani, Crama Ratesti, Crama Vinc, Lozano de dezvoltare, Barza Alba (Moldavian Republic), Eduardo Miroglio (Bulgaria) Azienda Vitivinicola Malgra (Italy), Giuliano tartufi (Italy).
GoodWine and the event partners aim to considerably contribute to the the culture of wine in Romania. GoodWine is the place where wine lovers have the chance to meet and interact with wine producers. The fair gave visitors the opportunity to taste over 150 different wines.
The HoReCa group (hotels, restaurants, cafes) were delighted as well. During the event they had the opportunity to study thoroughly the industry of wine, discuss directly with representatives from several wineries and choose the most suitable wine for their business.
Vincon Vrancea surprised us with their limited edition of Mirabilis Machina, Fetească Neagră 2013. Domeniul Vlădoi impressed us with a Sauvignon Blanc, while the Chardonnay is still their pearl. Balla Geza stepped forward with Mustoasă de Maderat, SIGNUM. Cotnari Winehouse teased us a little with their new Fetească Neagră, a wine received by wine enthusiasts with arms /mouths wide open. Stirbey Winery brought along Sauvignon Blanc Vitis Vetus 2011 (from a 40-year-old vine). Alira delighted us all with their mysterious sweet red wine, whose name we do not know yet, but we do know that it had gread success amongst the tasters. The following GoodWine Fair will take place on 20-22 November, and we are hoping that many more wine producers and visitors will take part in the event.
